Vision Baptist Church

God has taught me a lot of things in these past couple months moving to Phoenix, AZ and working at Vision Baptist Church. Even though we are taught it and preached it a lot, when we think of a church something like this picture probably pops into our head….

This is the White Tanks Baptist Church, where our mid-week service is held on Tuesday nights. But the thing is the “church” is so much more than that. A church cannot be confined to a building but rather it is the living, breathing, functioning body of believers that meets inside that building, or cafeteria, or park, or trailer, or field that is the TRUE church. We cannot confine God’s work to a building and that is a wonderful thing. When the buildings we build on this earth are old and burnt down the body of Christ will still be very muchly so alive in Heaven.

This is a picture of the inside of Millennium High School, where our church currently meets for Sunday morning and evening services.

The Stephen Roy

The Roy’s are a family in my church that have been a great blessing to me. Dave heads up the music ministry and leads the congregational music during services. His wife Rachel plays piano amazingly and has just delivered her 4th Son!!! The order of the Roy boys goes (from oldest to youngest) Luke, Stephen, Ethan, and now…Andrew James (Good name huh?!?! Ya I thought so too.) Anyway…the week before Mrs. Roy was supposed to go into labor I took these pictures of her then middle son Stephen and put them together in a collage type format. I have showed them to many people at my work place and everybody loves them but have not yet shared them with you guys. Hope you all enjoy. Let me know what you think.
