Take it to the Max!

School is almost back in session now and some of my friends are starting to come back into town. Max Edwards and I have been great friends for about two years. The first time I met him he was in my cabin for camp. The following school semester he came to Crown and he was in the dorm that I was the Resident Assistant in, so I thought that was pretty cool. He has been a great friend to me over the years and is always encouraging me, whether spiritually or emotionally. Max is becoming an avid skateboarder so I decided to come along on one of his skating outings and snap a few pics. Here ya go Max, I hope you like!

Cristina’s Suprise Birthday

August 19, 2007 | Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

So my beautiful girlfriend Cristina Lee turns the big 21 this Monday. She had to be back down at school this past weekend because she is going to be a Resident Assistant this year. So being the good boyfriend I am I got in contact with her sister and brother in-law which live about an hour away to throw a surprise party for her on Saturday. Everything worked perfectly and she was surprised. The day consisted of me grilling out for her, Beck, and David for lunch, then later that night we went to the Melting Pot for desert. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun. Happy Birthday sweets!
The gift…
The necessities for any good bbq…
Oh the wonderful goodness of grilling meat…

Beck and David got Cristina and I our first “wedding” present even though we are not engaged yet. It was our dinnerware plates. They are just what Cristina and I wanted!

Work..Work…Work…repeat

It seems like at this time in my life all I am doing is working. I am either working at my official job or working on my master’s degree, or working on my “future” plans. It can sometimes get a little laborious, but the Lord is faithful through it all. It’s amazing how He works sometimes just to get us out of the ruts in life we have. As someone said, “A rut is simply a grave with both ends knocked out.” Anyway…during my lunch break I get a chance to walk around downtown Knoxville very often. I snapped a couple pics of this cool statue. Hope you enjoy.
